Currently, cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of death for women in the United States. One in three women will die of heart disease—a rate 10 times higher than that of breast cancer. However, many cardiovascular diseases are manageable with early detection and aggressive intervention. Some disorders are even preventable, with the appropriate steps taken early on.
Dr. Dimick is passionate about helping women both prevent and manage cardiovascular disease. She works closely with her patients, providing education, medication when necessary, and guidance in developing a balanced lifestyle. Her goal is to make sure every patient has the longest, most fulfilling life possible, and that involves treating the whole patient, not just the symptoms.
