At the Central Oklahoma Early Detection Center, Dr. Dimick practices at the forefront of lipidology, chronic disease, weight, and lifestyle management in order to provide top-of-the-line treatment and prevention services for her patients. Dr. Dimick ensures that she, and the entire COEDC staff, spends as much time as possible with each patient in order to address their concerns and provide education on their specific healthcare goals and needs. She is also an avid reader of many of the top, most reputable publications concerning these topics, and she loves to share them with her patients so they may learn more about the issues related to their own health or interests, as well.

Cardiometabolic Disease and Cardiovascular Disease

Right now, cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of death in America—1 in 3 adults is affected by it. Dr. Dimick is dedicated to treating, preventing, and reversing disease in her patients, focusing on prevention services for those with risk factors for cardiovascular disease and cardiometabolic disease. To do so, she maintains continued education and a reading list of publications to closely follow news and research relating to the topics—and she hopes to share these with her patients.
